Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or group virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary platform.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, study guides, and supplemental materials tailored to individual student needs.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and complex concept clarification.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback and track student progress through our digital dashboard.
- Collaborate with parents and academic coordinators to ensure holistic student development.
- Adhere to company policies regarding student privacy, data security, and professional conduct.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and subject-specific trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject matter (or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience).
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with online learning tools, video conferencing software (Zoom, Teams), and LMS.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to explain difficult topics simply and effectively.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace in New Orleans, LA.
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week, with consistent scheduling.
