Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of students.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, homework help, and exam preparation materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and interactive discussions to track progress.
- Provide constructive, actionable feedback to students and parents to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and session notes within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Collaborate with other tutors and academic coordinators to refine teaching strategies and resources.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and ensure an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (e.g., Math, Science, English) or equivalent teaching experience.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and online whiteboard platforms (Miro, Jamboard).
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and simply.
- Must be a resident of the United States with valid authorization to work remotely.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
