Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary learning platform.
- Design and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and curriculum requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic growth.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance the learning experience and maintain student engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student performance and behavioral updates.
- Prepare students for standardized tests and exams with targeted practice sessions.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Education, English, Math, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring K-12 students (1+ year preferred).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and paces.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts as required by student schedules.
