As an Online Tutor, you will deliver personalized, one-on-one instruction via our state-of-the-art virtual platform. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule while empowering students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom or our proprietary learning management system.
- Design and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and curriculum standards.
- Diagnose learning gaps and provide constructive, actionable feedback to foster continuous academic improvement.
- Utilize digital whiteboards, multimedia resources, and gamification tools to keep lessons engaging and effective.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to discuss progress, attendance, and student development.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and pace of students.
- Ensure a professional and positive virtual learning environment for every session.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor (Math, English, Science, etc.), or a related field.
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (1+ years preferred).
- Strong subject matter expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students remotely.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to a professional schedule.
- Current professional liability insurance is a plus.
