Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group virtual tutoring sessions using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet).
- Design customized lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to each student's specific learning needs and goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment during all sessions.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and educational best practices to provide high-quality instruction.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding student performance and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or teaching assistant is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
