Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one online tutoring sessions for K-12 students in Math, Science, English, or Spanish.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and pace.
- Track student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback to parents and guardians.
- Prepare lesson plans and utilize digital whiteboards and video conferencing tools effectively.
- Maintain a professional and encouraging online presence during sessions.
- Participate in weekly training webinars and curriculum updates to stay current with educational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring students in the K-12 age range.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain difficult concepts simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with online learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas) and basic computer skills.
- Available to work at least 10 hours per week.
