Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 and college curricula
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Georgia academic standards
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies using our digital platform
- Provide detailed progress reports and constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years teaching/tutoring experience (virtual experience strongly preferred)
- Georgia teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, proprietary systems)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
- Background check clearance and willingness to undergo periodic training
