Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one virtual instruction to K-12 students in core subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies.
- Design and adapt dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive virtual classroom environment that keeps students engaged.
- Analyze student performance data and provide constructive feedback to students and parents to track progress.
- Utilize advanced digital tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with educational specialists and fellow tutors to refine teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject matter (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Valid state teaching certification or equivalent professional tutoring experience.
- Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and online collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas).
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome academic challenges.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
