Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, quizzes, simulations) to enhance engagement
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
- Participate in quarterly training on pedagogical best practices
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- State teaching certification or subject matter expertise (minimum 2 years)
- Proven experience in virtual teaching environments
- Exceptional communication and adaptability skills
- Proficiency with online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Ability to engage students through interactive digital tools
- Background check and child safety clearance required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
