Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and student goals
- Track student progress through our learning management system and provide actionable feedback
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AP) and subject-specific assessments
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/teaching experience with K-12 or college students
- Proven expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History) or test prep
- Strong technology proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- California teaching certification or equivalent credential
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
