Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital tools for interactive whiteboard sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student goals
- Prepare students for standardized tests and academic assessments
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Minimum 2 years tutoring or teaching experience
- State teaching certification preferred
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Clear background check and fingerprinting
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions
- Specialized skills in SAT/ACT prep highly valued
