Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure video platform
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools for engaging lessons
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session logs and academic records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (or current student)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, or History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet)
- CA teaching certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
