Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Canvas, etc.).
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and pace.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured virtual classroom environment.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and students.
- Communicate effectively with families to discuss learning goals and performance.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject you wish to tutor, or a related field.
- Strong command of English grammar and subject matter expertise (Math, Science, English, History, etc.).
- Previous online tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Proficient with technology and learning management systems.
