Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and multimedia resources for dynamic lessons
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student achievements proactively
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- California teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
