Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, educational apps) to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our student management system
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address individual student needs and learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- CA teaching certification or equivalent credentials highly desirable
- Proven expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
