Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, Test Prep)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Utilize interactive platforms (Zoom, Kami, Nearpod) for dynamic lessons
- Communicate effectively with parents and school partners
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring experience with LA-based students
- CA teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technologies and digital assessment tools
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
