Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, educational software) for effective instruction
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student milestones with the academic team
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- CA teaching credential or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
