Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure platform
- Customize lesson plans aligned with California state standards and individual learning goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, assessments) for engaging sessions
- Communicate progress updates to parents and EduConnect coordinators bi-weekly
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum training
- Maintain accurate session records and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- California teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- Minimum 2 years experience with K-12 students in virtual or classroom settings
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational software
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Clear background check and professional references
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time)
