Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize interactive digital tools (virtual whiteboards, simulations)
- Communicate progress with parents/guardians monthly
- Collaborate with academic team on best practices
- Maintain accurate session records in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or Science field
- 2+ years tutoring/teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in video conferencing and digital tutoring tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in Algebra, Calculus, or Physics
- Exceptional communication and motivational skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Clear background check and fingerprinting clearance
