Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions for Mathematics and Science subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievements and goals
- Maintain accurate session records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Texas teaching certification preferred (or equivalent state certification)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Physics, or Chemistry
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
