Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in Mathematics and Sciences
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Omaha Public Schools curriculum
- Track student progress through our proprietary learning management system
- Prepare students for standardized tests (ACT/SAT) and subject-specific assessments
- Communicate progress updates to parents and academic advisors weekly
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or Science-related field
- 2+ years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Nebraska teaching certification preferred
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps
- Excellent communication and tech troubleshooting abilities
- Background check and child safety certification required
