Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small-group live tutoring sessions via our interactive online platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and individual learning objectives
- Utilize adaptive learning software to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies
- Provide detailed progress reports and actionable feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to refine curriculum materials and teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student achievement records
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and peer mentoring sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or Education (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proven expertise in Algebra, Calculus, Physics, or Chemistry curriculum
- Proficiency with virtual teaching tools (Zoom, BitPaper, Nearpod) and LMS platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- State teaching certification or equivalent credential strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
