Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Nebraska state standards and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress through our analytics dashboard and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback and detailed progress reports to students and parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, practice tests) to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning challenges
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Nebraska teaching certification or equivalent (can be obtained post-hire)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Availability for evening and weekend sessions (Central Time)
