Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons across core subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals
- Track progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/students
- Utilize interactive digital tools for immersive learning experiences
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Tennessee teaching certification preferred (not required for non-licensed tutors)
- 2+ years experience tutoring or teaching K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
