Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in math, science, ELA, or test prep
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with Tennessee state standards and student goals
- Track progress through our digital platform and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations) to enhance remote learning experiences
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student needs and adjust teaching strategies
- Maintain session notes and progress reports for portfolio development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Tennessee teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience with virtual platforms
- Proficiency in Google Classroom, Zoom, and adaptive learning software
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Background check and child safety certification required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (10-20 hrs/week)
