Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize multimedia tools and digital resources to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to student success portfolios
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine tutoring methodologies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Tennessee teaching certification preferred (not required for remote roles)
- Background check and child safety clearance required
- High-speed internet and quiet home office setup
