Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, ELA, Science)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Tennessee State Standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools (Zoom, NearPod, Khan Academy) for engaging sessions
- Communicate effectively with parents and school coordinators
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- 1+ years of tutoring/teaching experience (remote preferred)
- Strong subject expertise in Math, Science, or English
- Tennessee teaching certification or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with video conferencing and educational technology
- Background check clearance required
