Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, and History
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning styles
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and educators
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, screen sharing) for dynamic virtual instruction
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT/ACT) and subject-specific assessments
- Maintain accurate session logs and communicate student achievements to academic coordinators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Arizona teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
