Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Florida State Standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance remote learning
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student learning gaps
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Valid Florida Teaching Certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural responsiveness
- Strong technology skills with reliable high-speed internet
- Passion for education and ability to inspire diverse learners
- Background check and fingerprinting clearance required
