Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Florida State Standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our LMS and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia) to enhance engagement
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Florida Teaching Certification or equivalent (or actively pursuing)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or online tutoring experience
- Expertise in at least 2 core academic subjects for grades K-12
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural responsiveness
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Miami time zone)
