Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for students in K-12 and college levels.
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to each student's learning style and curriculum requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance metrics.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating virtual learning environment to encourage student engagement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic goals and feedback.
- Utilize various digital tools and platforms to facilitate interactive learning experiences.
- Stay updated on subject matter and educational best practices to ensure high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, English, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- Strong internet connection and a quiet workspace in Miami (or remote setting).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, understandable terms.
