Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual sessions in mathematics, science, English, or foreign languages
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Florida educational standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through our proprietary assessment platform and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents and EduConnect coordinators regarding student achievements
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia resources) during sessions
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring methodologies and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or current enrollment)
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual experience preferred)
- Proficiency in delivering engaging online lessons using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County curriculum standards and Common Core
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Clear background check and professional references
