Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and improvement areas
- Utilize digital resources and adaptive learning technologies to enhance instruction
- Maintain accurate session documentation and feedback in our tutor portal
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students (minimum 1 year)
- Expertise in core academic subjects (Math, Science, English, History) or specialized test prep (SAT/ACT)
- Strong technology proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning styles
- Valid Wisconsin teaching certification preferred but not required for subject experts
- Background clearance check required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
