Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online tutoring sessions for Milwaukee-area students in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school partners regarding student development
- Utilize interactive digital tools and resources to create dynamic virtual classrooms
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Wisconsin teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- 2+ years of K-12 teaching or tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency for diverse student populations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
