Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with Milwaukee Public Schools curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary analytics dashboard
- Communicate progress with parents and EduSmart academic advisors
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain flexible availability during weekday afternoons and weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Strong subject expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- WI teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
