Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Provide constructive feedback and track student progress to ensure academic improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and learning strategies.
- Maintain a professional and engaging virtual classroom environment.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and curriculum completion.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or holding a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Education or a related field.
- Strong command of the subject matter you wish to tutor (K-12 Math, Science, English, History, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with online learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Google Classroom.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse student needs.
