Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with Wisconsin academic standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school liaisons
- Utilize digital tools for interactive whiteboard sessions and content sharing
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session documentation and feedback logs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- WI state teaching certification preferred (not required for non-core subjects)
- Proven experience in remote tutoring or virtual classroom environments
- Expertise in at least one K-12 subject area (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital teaching tools
- Availability for weekday evening/weekend sessions (Milwaukee time)
- Background check clearance required
