Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via our secure video conferencing platform, tailoring lessons to each student's unique learning style and pace.
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans, homework assignments, and practice quizzes that align with curriculum standards.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback to parents and students to ensure academic growth.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that boosts student confidence and engagement.
- Collaborate with the BrightPath Learning team to update curriculum materials and share best practices with fellow tutors.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling sessions, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with the support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in K-12 subjects (Math, Science, English, History) or specialized subjects (SAT/ACT Prep, AP courses).
- Proven experience in remote teaching, virtual instruction, or a strong academic background suitable for tutoring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and clearly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
