Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 students in core subjects (Math, English, Science, History).
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s individual learning style and academic needs.
- Utilize virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) effectively to maintain student engagement.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Assist students with homework assignments, exam preparation, and concept mastery.
- Maintain a professional, encouraging, and organized online workspace.
- Communicate promptly with the academic team regarding student performance and scheduling changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or currently enrolled in education program).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is preferred but not always required.
- Strong command of the English language and exceptional communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
