As a Remote Tutor at EduCore, you will have the freedom to set your own schedule while making a tangible impact on students' academic success. Our platform utilizes cutting-edge technology to facilitate seamless learning experiences, allowing you to focus on what you do best—teaching.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Personalized Instruction: Conduct 1-on-1 or small group tutoring sessions via our secure video platform, tailoring lessons to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and specific subject requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their academic goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track student progress through our Learning Management System (LMS) and provide regular, constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with students, parents, and academic coordinators regarding lesson schedules and student performance.
- Technical Proficiency: Ensure all necessary technology is functioning correctly and troubleshoot minor technical issues during live sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science) or equivalent teaching experience.
- Experience: Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required for high-performing candidates.
- Availability: Must reside in Minneapolis, MN, and be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week during evening or weekend hours.
- Technical Skills: Reliable high-speed internet connection, a modern computer/laptop, and proficiency with video conferencing tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
