Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and individual learning goals
- Track student progress using our digital platform and provide actionable feedback
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to support holistic student development
- Utilize interactive tools (whiteboards, simulations) to create immersive learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pedagogical techniques and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years verified tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math/Science/ELA focus)
- Proficiency with virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and tailor interventions
- Washington State teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
