Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in math, science, English, or test prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, our proprietary LMS) effectively
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate progress with parents/clients
- Collaborate with academic team to refine tutoring methodologies
- Stay current with educational trends and teaching best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Strong technology skills with proficiency in video conferencing and digital tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, adaptability, and cultural awareness
- Texas teaching certification (preferred but not required for non-public school roles)
- Background check clearance
