Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in mathematics, science, language arts, or social studies
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Louisiana state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic coordinators
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software) for interactive learning
- Collaborate with curriculum team to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one core academic subject
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage students virtually
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Valid Louisiana teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., CRLA)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
