Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure online platform.
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with student curriculum and individual learning styles.
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improving their overall academic performance.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback to parents and guardians.
- Prepare students for standardized tests, quizzes, and upcoming coursework with targeted preparation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and session notes.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the BrightPath Learning support team.
Qualifications
- Must reside in the United States (New Orleans, LA preferred).
- A Bachelor's degree in the subject matter you intend to teach or a related field.
- Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Passion for education and a desire to help students succeed.
