Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Create customized lesson plans aligned with NY curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback to students/parents
- Leverage multimedia tools to create dynamic, interactive learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports in our tutoring management system
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- NY State teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
