Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NYS curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to discuss academic development
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, multimedia resources) to enhance learning
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation in our CRM system
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and peer collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- NYS teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- 2+ years of experience in online/virtual teaching environments
- Expertise in NYS curriculum standards and Common Core methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Proficiency in digital tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software)
- Background check and clearance for working with minors
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
