Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and student learning goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic coordinators
- Utilize digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance lesson effectiveness
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- CA teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- 2+ years of experience in online or classroom teaching
- Expertise in core K-12 subjects (Math/Science/English focus)
- Exceptional communication and digital literacy skills
- Ability to create engaging, culturally responsive lesson materials
- Background in Oakland Unified School District curriculum a plus
