Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Utilize digital tools to create dynamic, interactive learning materials
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student records and information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (remote experience a plus)
- CA teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math, Science, English, or Spanish
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
