Your Role
As an Online Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized instruction to students via our proprietary learning platform. You will not just teach content; you will inspire curiosity and build confidence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 and adult learners using video conferencing tools.
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that cater to individual student learning styles and pace.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Collaborate with parents and academic coordinators to align tutoring goals with school curriculums.
- Utilize interactive whiteboards and digital resources to create engaging learning environments.
- Adapt teaching strategies in real-time to address specific learning challenges or gaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject matter (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring is highly preferred.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using technology, including video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital whiteboards.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
