Responsibilities
- Deliver Virtual Instruction: Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via video conferencing platforms, ensuring high student engagement and participation.
- Personalized Learning: Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific learning style, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Track Progress: Monitor student performance and maintain detailed records of progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Subject Mastery: Demonstrate deep knowledge in assigned subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.) and stay updated on curriculum standards.
- Virtual Communication: Maintain professional communication with the academic team and ensure all technical requirements are met during sessions.
- Student Support: Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence and academic resilience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or the specific subject matter is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students of various age groups.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Technical Requirements: High-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and proficiency with video conferencing software (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside within the country.
